At ISP Leisure every effort is made and great pride taken in sourcing and purchasing only the very best products for the ships managed. The bulk of the provisions are purchased in the United States and Europe and transported to their various destinations via air freight or by sea cargo, thus insuring and guaranteeing that every item in inventory is of optimum standard and quality.
Hotel Managers and Chefs coordinate with chandlers and purveyors in ports worldwide to order and purchase local and regional items including fresh seafood, spices, produce, etc. Given that the majority of ships managed by ISP Leisure are expedition types, doing exploration cruises to many remote regions of the world, extra effort is taken to train and instruct the onboard catering staff to produce a wide variety of regional and exotic cuisines ranging
from Japanese, Indonesian, Thai, Philippines, and Indian to Russian and Scandinavian, etc. This has been a welcomed feature most enjoyed and celebrated by our guests.
ISP Leisure's housekeeping staff is not only trained to clean staterooms and public spaces, but also in the art of pampering and providing extra attention to everyone and is especially to our most senior guests.
They have successfully continued to obtain very high marks in the overall customer satisfaction survey. The goal is to ensure that all areas are immaculately cleaned and sanitized in accordance and compliance with all standards and guidelines from authorities of Health Canada, the European Union and the United State Public Health Department (USPH/CDC.) ISP Leisure's managers are certified in sanitation and the crew is trained to comply with these standards at all time. Nevertheless, protection of the environment is always taken into consideration by utilizing as many products as possible which are recognized to be environmentally friendly.
